A National Environmental Initiative Reflecting Bank ABC Algeria's Commitment to Sustainable Development
Bank ABC Algeria participated in the national reforestation campaign, held on October 24 and 25, 2025, in coordination with the Directorate of Youth and Sports of the Wilaya of Chlef, as part of the national program aimed at planting one million trees across the country.
This participation forms part of the national efforts led by the Ministry of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Forests and the Algeria Green Association, with the objective of strengthening vegetation cover, preserving natural resources, and contributing to the fight against climate change, in line with national sustainable development strategies.
Chlef Equestrian Club: A Symbolic Venue for Collective Environmental Action
The Chlef Equestrian Club hosted the reforestation activities, serving as a venue that embodies community proximity and a spirit of cooperation. This initiative brought together Bank ABC Algeria teams, local youth, and local authorities in a joint effort, highlighting the importance of partnerships between banking institutions and local communities in protecting the environment.
The campaign took place over two days, starting on Friday, October 24, 2025, in the Wilaya of Chlef, and continuing on Saturday, October 25, 2025, across the various branches of Bank ABC Algeria, with the participation of the bank's employees and their families. This collective initiative reinforced the values of environmental citizenship and social responsibility.
Bank ABC Algeria Strengthens Its Social and Environmental Responsibility
Through this initiative, Bank ABC Algeria reaffirms its commitment to supporting public authorities' efforts to preserve forests and biodiversity, while embedding the principles of sustainable development as a core pillar of its social and institutional responsibility.
The date of October 25 thus represents a national milestone embodying collective commitment to environmental protection and the promotion of environmental citizenship values, in line with the bank's vision of adopting responsible practices that serve present and future generations in Algeria.
